Basic Academy DECA Students Featured on Nevada News
Basic Academy High School DECA students were recently featured on the 8 News Now segment, “What’s Cool At School.”
In a Shark Tank-esque seminar, DECA members Guadalupe Torres, Clarissa Neff, Christopher Dornak, Danny Vella, and sisters Taulima and Tatiana DeVoux pitched business plans to a variety of judges. With products ranging from mobile disablers to medical devices, the judges were thrilled to see how these DECA members presented their ideas.

Using the creativity, leadership, and presentation skills learned from their experiences in DECA leadership conferences as well as their DECA chapters, these members understood the necessity to have high quality pitches and marketing plans.
Nevada DECA is proud of the hard work and dedication Basic Academy DECA has put into this competition. We hope to see these students continue to lead and achieve in the near future!
