Introducing the Nevada DECA Leadership Applications Academy

Are you a first-time DECA competitor, a returning veteran, or a graduating senior looking to bring their leadership skills to the real world?

What unites us all in DECA is not the endless role-play practice or exam preparation, but the fact that we are all emerging leaders.

Your Nevada DECA Vice President of Leadership, Morgan Heath-Powers, and State President, Aria Khiabani, are all about the big picture in DECA and are most passionate about the leadership aspects of competition. They are so excited to offer members like you a new initiative through which you, alongside fellow Nevada DECA members, can engage in online leadership training and personal development directly facilitated by Morgan and Aria!

These virtual training sessions, conducted through monthly video calls, will incorporate the tested principles of real world successful leaders to help you discover both the leader you are today, as well as the leader you can and should aspire to be. Broken into three separate calls, set to occur throughout November, December and January, participating members will receive well-deserved recognition at SCDC for their completion of the training, in addition to valuable leadership skills they can utilize in the real world.

All Nevada DECA members are eligible to apply for this incredible opportunity, but be sure to submit your application soon!
