DECA is endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education as a co-curricular student leadership and career technical education program.

Nevada DECA is chartered by the Nevada Department of Education and endorsed as an essential component of business education in accordance with NRS 389.800.

Nevada DECA, Inc. is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that manages the DECA Charter in Nevada and receives funding from students, alumni, industry supporters, schools, and the NevadaDepartment of Education via state funding allocations. Nevada DECA does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability and age, and that they provide equal access to the Boy Scouts of America and other designated youth groups.
