Cynthia Fiscus of Desert Pines High School obtained a medal for her performance in her second role play in Retail Merchandising Series.

Christopher Huh from the Davidson Academy received a medal for his comprehensive exam score in Principles of Business Management and Administration.

From Advanced Technologies Academy, Joshua Gray made it to the final round of the Fashion Merchandising Promotion Plan event and also received a medal for his preliminary presentation.

Also from ATA, the team of Shane Haddad and Charles Nguyen succeeded in making it to the Hospitality Services Team Decision Making final round and won a medal for their preliminary presentation.

Finally, reaching the greatest heights for Nevada DECA this year, Stephan Kim from the Davidson Academy excelled in the Principles of Finance event by winning a medal for his comprehensive exam, proceeding to the final round of competition, and finally being recognized as the fifth best competitor in the world in his event!

Nevada DECA is especially proud of these DECA scholars. We hope to see more of our members “Aspire Higher” and excel in their competitive events on both state and national levels in 2011-2012!
