Two Nevada DECA Chapters Win Highest Honors in DECA Advocacy Campaign
Nevada DECA wishes to recognize and celebrate Desert Oasis High School and Southwest Career and Technical Academy for achieving the "Summit Level" in DECA's new Advocacy Campaign.
In order to achieve the highest level of the campaign, both chapters had to perform five school outreach advocacy activities, perform five public policymaker outreach activities and perform five community outreach advocacy activities during Career and Technical Education Month in February.
Most remarkable of all, Nevada had the most Summit Level chapters in the nation, making this distinction even more incredible.
Congratulations to Desert Oasis and their advisor Tina Fulks, as well as Southwest CTA and their advisors Perry Annett and Karin Jones, for their terrific efforts! More information about their award can be found at http://www.deca.org/news/151/
