Arianna Ophir – VP of Hospitality

Arianna Ophir, a dedicated and passionate senior at West Career and Technical Academy, is enthusiastic to join the Nevada DECA state officer team as the Vice President of Hospitality. As she is driven by leadership, creativity, and the power to connect, she looks forward to bringing Nevada DECA members together through exciting opportunities and collective engagement. As a fourth-year member, she hopes to use her experiences and her initiative to support her peers on their own DECA journeys.

At her first SCDC in 2019, she was awestruck by the number of like-minded students that had been brought together to expand their knowledge of business and leadership and develop themselves professionally. After networking with her peers, connecting with members of the Nevada business community, and winning first place in Principles of Hospitality, she felt that she had found her place within the organization. Returning to SCDC in 2020, this time as her chapter’s historian, she continued with her DECA success by winning third place in the Community Awareness Project.

Alongside her love of DECA, Arianna is a devoted student who enjoys her involvement in a variety of extracurricular activities, including HOSA, Speech and Debate, Science Olympiad, and Yoga Club. She is also the hardworking chapter president of United Synagogue Youth and serves on two advisory committees for the Clark County School District. In her free time, she loves to sing, write, play the piano, and paint-- her favorite projects are creating murals!

To Arianna, being a DECA member not only represents dedication to growth, leadership, and the surrounding community, but it means being a part of something that is bigger than oneself. That being said, Arianna will work hard to make sure that she puts her best effort forward in order to ensure that current and future members will have access to the same powerful experiences that have resonated with her through the years.
